Not a work in progress, A completed work...

"Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:16
Here we are, standing in a brand new year. Days are movin' by, the world is in turmoil...And where do we fit into all this? The only thing that keeps most of us going is the promise that we have from God that things are going to get better. And we believe it. Deep down, we really believe it. It's just that at times it seems a little slow in materializing...but then again the Holy Spirit, ever present and always faithful, reminds us of 1 Pet 1:7, that even gold cannot be compared to the priceless lessons that God teaches us. And so we get back up, dust ourselves off, and move on. Giving up is not an option...it is never an option...
But here is something even better: when God looks at us, He does not see us on the road to the place He has for us. He does not see us trying to get hold of His promise to us... He sees us ALREADY THERE!! He sees us POSSESSING THE PROMISE!!! Because Psalm 139:16 says that before we were formed––in other words, when we were yet non-existent to the world, even to our parents––God saw us. He saw the 'completed work'. He ordained all your days--YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!! And then you were formed...My God! How awesome that is...
So what happens is that the facts of our lives must align themselves with the truth about our lives. The fact may be that things are hard right now, but the TRUTH: you have already overcome!! Because in God's book your ending has already been decided, and that ending is a victorious one.
So long as the Lord Himself is ordering your steps on the path that He has set you upon, You are already at your destination!!! If He has said it, consider it done. Numbers 23:19.
Faith calls us to believe that we have obtained what we do not yet see in the natural. So believe that you have attained your destination, and that you have predetermined success in all that you do. As long as you are allowing the Lord do lead you, failure is not even a passing thought, much less an option.
So in all that I do, though the fact is that I am a work in progress, THE TRUTH IS THAT I AM A COMPLETED WORK!! AMEN.
Until next time, may the peace of God keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. I love you, and the Lord Jesus loves you most!
Be Blessed,
Bénie
